This pillow is part of our Aakar collection. A collection inspired by medley of patterns and colors inspired by vintage of Indian architecture. Elements like jharokha, jaal, tiles, stepwell are used as forms to leave an imprint using hand block and screen printing onto the soft, textured cotton.

We think it’s safe to say you’ve never met a llama native to Kenya – or one you’d want in your living room, for that matter – until now. Sewn and screen printed by hand on natural canvas by local artisans.

To create this beautiful decorative pillow, Malian artisans enrich woven cotton with indigo blue dye. A resist dyed razor blade pattern provides bold contrast to the deep blue background. The pillow includes a fold-over back for easy removal of pillow inserts.

Made in the village of Nahuala, these textiles are elegant and modern. Each are a deep indigo featuring subtle, geometric lines or grids and a hand-embroidered “randa” or decorative seam for a pop of color. Paired with vintage indigo Nahuala backing.

Woven on a large pedal loom by women in Guatemala, this heirloom quality pillow is constructed of locally-sourced cotton and yarn dyed in sienna orange with chocolate brown and beige stripes. The textural details are subtle, and therein lies their power.  The woven material is on both sides of the pillow with an invisible zipper on the bottom.

The pillow insert is not included.  (Insert available in-store for $20)

Our Ula Pillows are handcrafted in Chiapas, Mexico from the wool of locally raised sheep. They are woven on a loom, covered in pom poms and feature a tassel on each corner.  INSERT SOLD SEPARATELY.
