Talented weavers in Ghana's northern Bolgatanga region craft beautiful half-moon shaped hand fans from natural and dyed elephant grass. The fan doubles as wall art when not in use.

Artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana weave this colorful checkered tote from thick, tough elephant grass that has been dyed a vibrant strawberry red. Bolga baskets can be easily wet down and reshaped, and can be used and enjoyed for years on end.

To reshape, spray with cool water and lightly press into desired shape. Allow to air dry.
