Full Circle Hangers are crafted, completely by hand, by our artisan partners at No.41, Kagiraneza and his wife Beatrice, in Gisenyi, Rwanda. This husband and wife team takes the imigwegwe plant from leaf to fiber and then weaves those fibers into beautiful hangers for all your leafy friends.

All natural Ethiopian cotton with beautiful stripes of color. Our Omo hand towels have mini-stripes on all natural cotton that coordinate with our Omo towels. These pieces are perfect in the bathroom, powder room and are terrific in the kitchen.  Absorbent and quick drying cotton.

This collection is completely handmade of hand-spun and hand-dyed 100% Ethiopian cotton using ancient weaving techniques with a contemporary twist. Each piece passes through the hands of over 20 artisans to create these high-quality pieces for you. All hand/kitchen towels machine wash and dry beautifully.

We've gone rogue. 

For good reason, we promise. While up until this point we've sold exclusively jewelry, clothing, and accessories, we now have sustainable bamboo utensil and straw sets.  Why?

1. Because it's time to ditch the plastic.
2. Because we couldn't find a fair trade option ourselves.
3. Because bamboo is a fast-growing, sustainable option.
4. Because our artisan partners have the capacity to make them, and we're all about creating more fair trade jobs for women!

Yup, it's kind of random. But we don't really care. Like every one of our products, it's about creating a better planet for us all.

It's also about time that we announce our program to go carbon neutral (hopefully carbon negative!) as an organization. Earlier this summer, a report was released showing the best locations to plant trees to help erase 100 years of carbon emissions. Turns out, many of the best areas in the world to focus on reforestation are where our artisan partners are located, so we're working hand-in-hand with women around the world to implement tree-planting programs in the communities where we work. Your purchases make this possible!

Traditional weavers create our choice handwoven placemats from a blend of banana plant stem and cotton.

Banana plants bear fruit only once in its lifetime. Treated as agricultural waste, banana plants headed for landfills once the fruit was harvested. However, in its new avatar, the plant has been transformed into strong, durable, and renewable ropes, twisted by hand, used in the creation of these exquisite handmade placemats. Spoil yourself or gift a loved one!!

This cotton throw blanket is soft and cozy and was handwoven by women rescued from poverty and now able to provide for their families in Kenya. It takes the women of Miujiza 5 days to make just one. This throw is a treasure - created by the grandmothers of the babies who live in our maternity home. By purchasing a throw you are directly changing the life of a woman across the globe. Miujiza means "miracle" and this throw is just that!
