Artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana weave this colorful checkered tote from thick, tough elephant grass that has been dyed a vibrant strawberry red. Bolga baskets can be easily wet down and reshaped, and can be used and enjoyed for years on end.

To reshape, spray with cool water and lightly press into desired shape. Allow to air dry.
