Woven Baskets

These sisal, woven baskets are handmade by a weaving cooperative in southeastern Kenya. The women hand-dye the sisal fibers and weave them into these beautiful works of art. These African baskets are great as plant holders, catchalls, toy baskets, storage baskets, or to liven up a space! Due to the handmade nature, size and color may vary a bit.

This versatile set of nesting baskets is handwoven by talented rural Kenyan women using strands of hand-dyed sisal and banana fiber. These rustic natural fiber baskets feature bold contrast between rough sisal and earthy, variegated banana leaf fiber.

We recommend spraying lightly with cold water to reshape baskets.
